Whole Sport Plan – Start, Stay, Succeed
They want to make lacrosse one of the leading sporting events in the UK. Also trying to get 3 age groups to start playing lacrosse 7 to 15 & 16 to 21 and 22+. Trying to increase the number of 16 year old by 13,000 by playing at least once a month and 8,900 people to play it every week. This should increase the number of people starting to play it up to 25,000.
There aims are to make an increase in lacrosse played in England in both the 3 target age groups.
In 2008 in there was a starting point for lacrosse clubs with 252 clubs schools and higher education areas playing lacrosse. This should hopefully rise all the way to 300 by 2013.
There was also 18 club marks that played lacrosse at entry level and this should increase all the way up to 50 by 2013 making more and more people wanting to play lacrosse and seeing and watching people play it
In 2008 there wasn’t no performance clubs in the UK but by 2013 they should have at least 10 performance clubs who wants to pay at a higher level than they started at when they first started playing lacrosse.

Competitions and tournaments
At any stage of playing lacrosse always have to start at entry level but if you want to play as someone in a higher aged group then you can go into. But there are 2 class types that you can go into; participation and performance. Going into the participation you have to start in entry level (clubs, school, community groups and universities) and then go into intermediate stage if you’re getting better and progress is good (clubs and universities) and if you are at the peek of you skill level then you can go and play in the advanced playing programs (performance clubs).
But going into performance you can play as a junior territorial (regional centers of excellence) and after that and you want to still play then you can go onto the seniors territorial (under 19 national squad) and if you’re you still want to play then you can go onto playing for England in the seniors national squads.
